Engagement Leader required to manage major projects in the Midlands, Worcester with proven consultancy background and a mix of strong customer facing Project Management skills / delivery of enterprise software solutions, matrix management of consultants on client site, combined with proven skills in managing systems integrators. The role also needs strong commercial / client management skills, and experience of identifying new sales / pre sales opportunities working with clients.
The Engagement Leader will be managing a mix of the companies own consultants and large teams of consultants from systems integrators to deliver complex software systems for the UK government departments. It is essential for this role that you have strong skills in project management, project governance and the ability to be assertive and lead teams of consultants, and win the clients trust. Experience of the Agile methodology and project delivery would also be an advantage. It is likely for this role that you will have progressed from a software development background, and technical knowledge around J2EE technology is ideal although not essential etc. Domain experience of working within the government, insurance or finance sector would be ideal as would experience of working within the BPM / Business Process Management software area with knowledge of systems such as Aqualogic, Lombardi, Filenet / IBM, ILOG, Pega, Vitria, Staffware / Tibco, or CRM / Contact Centre Software sector with Chordiant, Epiphany, etc although this is not essential and training will be provided. The projects are currently based in the Midlands and would be ideal for someone who lives in this area or who is happy working away from home.
