Marketing Manager - Business Development
Basic salary £30-£45k Winchester Our client a highly successful Consultant Engineering Company (structural, civil and building services) has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Marketing Manager/ Business Development Manager who has contacts in the construction industry. As Marketing/Business Development Manager overall responsibilities will include: •Developing and implementing the BD Strategic Plan •Preparing and submitting bi-monthly BD Board report •Monitoring the pipeline of enquires and taking appropriate action •Checking levels of customer satisfaction on a business to business level •Monitoring the market place/ trends •Tracking BD activities against Company strategy •With the support of the BD Director prepare BD budget, monitor and report this on a bi monthly basis. In addition to the above responsibilities you will also be required to: •Monitor a robust client database, log and maintain key local activities on the company database •Provide information for company publication, maintain and update pre-qualification documents as necessary. Promotional Development/Marketing will include: •Creating and maintaining project profile datasheets •Creating and maintaining Company publications including liaison with suppliers •Developing and appraising company website and intranet aligned company brand •Dealing with professional photography including provision of the brief •Producing public relations articles for industry and local press •Identifying and overseeing events including proposals of guests Management responsibilities will involve appraising and setting of staff and creating cross-functional links within the divisions. Day to day management and monitoring of other BD staff in addition to maintaining up to date knowledge of Government initiatives on procurement and keeping abreast of market needs and conditions. The development of clients and professional colleague relationships and a good understanding of the needs of the clients and having a good working relationship with Professional teams is also an important part of the role.
