Management Accountant £25-35000 Trial Balance is exclusively recruiting on behalf of our client, a large services business with operations throughout the UK. They seek to recruit a Management Accountant to join their finance team of approximately 12 staff on a permanent, full time basis. They would like to consider either part or fully qualified candidates (CIMA/ACCA/ACMA), or those who are qualified by experience. This role could potentially go one of two ways hence the wide salary banding. Either as part of the existing Management Accounts team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager (for those without supervisory experience), or acting as head Management Accountant with staff supervisory responsibility for a team of 2-3 and reporting activities directly to the Head of Finance. The post holder will be a senior member of the Financial Management unit of the Finance Department. Accordingly, he or she will report regularly to the Head of Finance and provide account on trends and variances on month-end results for the whole company, resulting in guidance and feedback to the various Heads of Department. Either way the successful candidate will have strong Management Accounting experience ideally, though not essentially gained within a manufacturing or services based environment.
