Title : Conference/Events Producer
Salary: £25,000-£29,000 + bonus Location: London – NW10 Keywords: Marketing, Publishing, Conferences, Publication Marketing, Conference Marketing. Our client is a specialist B2B media company in NW London working in the built environment field; specialising in regeneration, property and sustainable building. They are currently looking for a conference producer to take lead responsibility for the production of commercially-successful event programmes: researching content and themes, writing the programme, acquiring and managing high-level speakers, and working with the marketing department on promotional materials and copy. Responsibilities will include: -Research the target market and create killer content. Stay on top of industry developments and competing events via telephone interviews with industry leaders and stakeholders, internet research, and working with our Editors and Editorial Advisory Board; -Develop conference themes and fully develop programmes for 10 – 12 events per year; identifying and attracting high-calibre speakers; -Identify target market for your events, write copy for the brochure, and provide input on promotional materials that will attract senior delegates; -Develop and manage the ongoing relationship with your speakers and key contacts in the industry; -Work with the Conference Manager on production of event materials and on-the-day running of the events; Suitable candidates must possess: -Highly developed research skills; -Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); -Highly organised and attentive to details; -Able to take initiative and highly flexible, able to juggle competing priorities; -PC literate; -Minimum 12 months' relevant event-production experience; -Experience with areas of environment, brownfield regeneration, or contaminated land would be beneficial but is not essential.
