This international communications and networking service provider has an opportunity for a skilled network engineer to provide hands-on support and maintenance of the transmission network infrastructure and facilities within one of their data centre locations in London.
Your responsibilities will include planning, installation, commissioning and day to day maintenance of the communications infrastructure. This will involve full installation of SDH networking equipment including cabling methodologies. You will have experience of working with multi vendor equipment and experience of working with transmission and IP networking technologies is a must for the role. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of working within a telecommunications or data centre environment and have in-depth troubleshooting, installation and testing skills around SDH, ADM, PDH and IP technologies.
