We are looking for an experienced Linux System Administrator who can provide expert technical support for all Unix technical infrastructure components. The role provides support for critical trading infrastructure including storage and backup/restore platforms via both onsite and on-call. Candidates should have strong Linux Administration for Linux Redhat ES/AS and have a RedHat certification either an RHCT or RHCE. Candidates should also have indepth experience of RHN Satellite and Proxy servers, security, deployment and management. The role also entails extensive Shell and Perl scripting. It is important to have experience in supporting Critical Finance systems so candidates need to have worked within an investment banking / trading arena.
