A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for a Production Shift Team Leader to join an expanding Food Manufacturer within the Nottingham area. Reporting into the Shift Manager you will manage a team of approximately 20 people.
You will take responsibility for the management of a team within the production arena on a shift by shift basis. You will ensure all procedures are adhered to and all customer orders are met in an accurate and timely manner. As the Team Leader you will be responsible for ensuring all quality and technical documentation is completed and meets company requirements. You will also manage and improve upon the GMP within your production area. As you are responsible for a team of operatives it is essential that you maintain a strong work environment where a continuous improvement culture can develop. You will highlight training and development needs and put together plans with individuals within your team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working within the Food Manufacturing industry in a management level role. You will have the ability to lead and motivate a team, develop their skills and lead by example. You will be self motivated with excellent communication and problem solving skills together with the ability to interpret data. There are a variety of shifts available to suit your needs.
