An exciting position has arisen for travel consultants to work in my clients office in Saltcoats.
Responsibilities
The ideal candidate will be outgoing and confident with a flair for sales and customer service.
Travel Consultant Responsibilities:
- Taking enquiries from customers who may already Travelled abroad & make alternate or additional Travel arrangements
- Booking flights - Charter & Scheduled, Hotel reservations, transport or requests for medical assistance
Travel Consultant Skills Required:
•Candidates must have experience selling holidays.
•Have previous experience working in a Travel environment making reservations for flights, hotels, car hire and rail.
•Taking enquiries from customers
•Be very confident communicating at all levels over the telephone
•Arrange alternate or additional travel arrangements
•Book flights/hotel reservations or transport
•Be self-motivated and approach work with a mature, positive approach
•Demonstrate the ability to consistently work towards and exceed set targets
•Possess good basic PC/keyboard skills
Requirements
•Have experience selling holidays
•Have retail or call centre experience
•Must have travel experience
•Must have knowledge of booking flights/hotels/car hire
