Due to the success of our business Anson McCade is looking for an established Account Manager to take over, manage and develop a number of prestigious accounts with top blue chip companies.
Our business is established around our professional relationships with our employers and an Account Manager must be looking to maintain this long-term aim with a view to becoming top tier PSL for a range of FTSE 250 firms, IT Consultancies and investment banks.
In order to be a successful Account Manager you MUST come from a solid Recruitment background – Ideally in IT, though this is flexible for the right candidate. You MUST be able to hit the ground running with an already established account with extremely large billing potentially. You must continually strive to develop your own relationships through your well-established business development skills.
You will need a highly extensive skill set with the ability to:
- Act as a single point of contact for Clients
- Cover the entire recruitment process through initial requirement gathering through to negotiations over wages and start date
- Handle a large volume of CVs and candidates through a strict screening process
- Work independently to develop and maintain your own business
- Make a large number of speculative calls with the view to headhunt candidates and source leads for new business
The most important of all the requisite attributes are stubbornness, resilience and determination. This is a very demanding position, which requires long hours (Monday to Friday) and will only suit a driven, determined and well-established individual. Only those able to take the very rough with the smooth will succeed, no matter how good your other skills are!

Financially you will be able to take advantage of one of the strongest commission structures in the city, which offers an uncapped 6-figure salary! A basic salary is available from £16,000 to £36,000 (Negotiable on a case-by-case basis) with a high commission band, which will continue to increase along with your basic as you meet (and exceed) your targets.
